Do you really need a website?

Do you really need a website?

Do you really need a website?

Short answer - yes! But not because it’s the latest thing, or even because everyone else has one.

It is ‘the way things are done’ now (especially in a world where lockdowns and social distancing restrict our activities in real life) - but there is more to it.

To break it down - the website is the key stone of your marketing. All marketing messages lead to it and if it is not there - or not working well - your marketing strategy will be inefficient at best, and non-existent at worst. You certainly won’t be attracting all the business you want (or need!)

The benefit of pointing your marketing at the site is the sheer availability of it - world wide, but more importantly it is always open and running so your customers can interact with it. We can even set it up to interact with those customers differently according to what they want, where they are or what they have searched for.

Even non-digital marketing will tend to have a web address printed on it.

Still not convinced?

You will look professional. We design sites for companies of all sizes and levels of ambition, but the one overriding factor is that they care about the service they provide - and the intention is to demonstrate this in a digital format. Sharp images, well laid out, guiding the visitor through the buying process - all the elements which present you as someone to be trusted.

Search marketing - you can be found when people are looking for what you provide. Don’t get me wrong here - it’s not easy to rank on Google, especially as there will be a lot of competition to out rank, but your chances are a good sight better if you have a site, than the zero if you don’t. And that said - we have services to support the process of ranking and our sites are specifically designed to keep the search robots happy.

Self promotion - all our clients are proud of what they do, but often modest too. Their sites show off their strengths and demonstrate what they can do to help you - the client - be the best you can be. They provide a showcase for your brilliance.

They help people find you - and encourage them to get in touch. Your site should encourage the visitor to do the things that you know leads to a sale (be that picking up a phone, filling in a form or walking into a physical store - it varies but is always a core question to be asked when you are in the early stages - what do you want people to do as a result of visiting your site?)

The last point - you can have a great site for your business. We start off by assessing what you do now and the best way forward. Our diagnostic auditing allows us to tailor your site to the needs of you and your business, and to fill in any gaps in your digital marketing strategy along the way.

What is International Day of Education? On the 24th of January we are celebrating International Day of Education, we recognising the education sector from a broader perspective. You may think, why is this something that needs recognizing? Well let us tell you. In 2018 the United Nations General Assembly granted the 24th of January as The International Day of Education. This day in particular focuses on educational development and reflecting on what we take for granted for accessing education and resources. Why Is This Important? Last year alone, the UK had at least 10.7 million children attending schools across the country whilst in other underdeveloped countries such as Sudan, Mali and others have a staggering rate of 258 million pupils who do not have access to any form of education. It is especially hard for those living in regions of higher inequality, education is not deemed as necessary and is often dismissed. Often governments also lack the sufficient funding for educational resources, meaning there is not enough funding for basic necessities such as bathrooms, teachers and supplies of uniform. International Day Of Education calls for change; the aim is to bring civil societies and individuals to take solid steps to ensure that children get to have a primary and secondary education in underdeveloped countries. Who Have We Worked With? We Are Doodlebug are proud to have worked with two amazing UK based Educational Trusts. As a company we believe in growth, the education sector is proven to provide that for individuals especially those in less fortunate circumstances. As Malala Yousafzai said “One child, one teacher, one book, and one pen can change the world”. The Diocese of Ely Multi Academy Trust, and Campfire Education Trust have been pivotal in providing Primary school education to thousands of children. Both Trust’s provide and establish a dynamic professional learning community, allowing children to grow an enthusiasm for learning and create curiosity about the world whilst still providing a caring attitude towards it. Seeing a child flourish in education is not just rewarding, it also gives them a chance in life and sets them up for success. How We Are Doodlebug Support Educational Trusts/Schools? 1.We can provide a consistent brand across schools whilst maintaining individual personality. 2.Ability to easily find policies in one place on the main MAT website which school sites link to so that they are always kept up to date and remain compliant. 3.We provide support via phone or email as well as training staff to make their own edits.a different source.
